Pauline Sewards

I write every day and learn from being with other writers and from the critiquing process. I value this group because of the honesty of opinion and the creative flare of the group members, which sometimes manifests as refreshing anarchy. The atmosphere is very different to a classroom.

I have several writing projects on the go:

- A novel set at Glastonbury festival which I've drafted with the help of

  the group.

- An embryonic project based on my work in healthcare.

- An historical family memoir.

I also moonlight in poetry and enjoy the instant feedback available through performing work. Some of my poems have been published online and in small press magazines including the current issues of South Bank Poetry and Prole Magazine. Please see links below - and please look at the other poems on the site.

I enjoy promoting other people's work and have hosted several events at the Torriano meeting house in Kentish Town.
